Uniform

Our uniform represents unity, pride, and a sense of belonging. We believe that a smart and consistent dress code fosters a positive learning environment, encourages discipline, and ensures that all students feel part of our school community. Our uniform policy is designed to be practical, comfortable, and inclusive, while also reflecting the values and standards we uphold. Below, you will find detailed guidelines on required attire, optional items, and where to purchase them.

By wearing the uniform with pride, our students embody the spirit of excellence and respect that defines our school.

Uniform Update – September 2026
Please note the following changes to our school uniform from September 2026:
  • School Tie: A single red striped tie will now be used for all year groups.
  • PE Kit: An improved PE kit design will be introduced.

Current students may continue to wear their existing tie and PE kit until these items need replacing.  We hope these changes will simplify our uniform requirements while maintaining a smart and consistent appearance across the school.

We understand that school uniforms can be a significant expense, which is why we offer options for purchasing second-hand items. Families can find pre-loved uniforms through: https://www.warrington.gov.uk/support-school-uniforms

When your child outgrows any uniform item/PE Kit or leaves school, we will be happy to receive any current Beamont Collegiate Academy uniform that’s clean, and in good condition, preferably with name tags removed.  Please label bags “uniform donations” and they can be handed into our reception.  If you have any uniform requirements please email mail@bcawarrington.org.uk.  A free school uniform swap is also available at the Warrington Foodbank premise in Warrington Golden Square.  Uniform is donated by members of the public and is available for anyone to access.

We recommend that parents/carers make their own arrangements for insurance of bags, clothing, watches, mobile phones, pens, and bicycles etc – usually by an extension of their home insurance.

In the interest of health and safety, students will not be permitted to wear pump style footwear.  Pumps, canvas style shoes, Converse, Vans and High Tops are not acceptable and must not be worn.

Students are strongly advised to purchase and wear a gum shield when participating in activities such as hockey and rugby. When PE kit is brought into school, it must be carried in a school bag.
