At Beamont Collegiate Academy, the safeguarding and well-being of our students is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a secure and nurturing environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported.
Our safeguarding policies and procedures are designed to protect students from harm, promote their welfare, and empower them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By working closely with parents, carers, and external agencies, we ensure a proactive approach to safeguarding, promoting a culture of vigilance and care throughout our school community. Early help at BCA
Early Help aims to prevent problems from worsening by providing timely support to families. Professionals, including those in schools, health services, and community organisations, can offer this support when they identify a need. The approach is most effective when it involves the whole family and services are provided collaboratively by different professionals.
If you are interested in receiving Early Help support, please contact Miss Lewis on 01925 579500 or earlyhelp@bca.warrington.ac.uk

Prevent
Prevent Duty
On 1 July 2015 the Prevent Duty (Section 26) of the Counter Terrorism and Security Act, 2015, came into force. This duty places the responsibility on Local Authorities and Schools to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism.
Beamont Collegiate Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its pupils. As a school we recognise that safeguarding against radicalisation is of paramount importance. All staff are expected to uphold and promote the fundamental principles of British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
We believe that children should be given the opportunity to explore diversity and understand Britain as a multi- cultural society; everyone should be treated with respect whatever their race, gender, sexuality, religious belief, special need or disability. As part of our commitment to safeguarding and child protection we fully support the government’s Prevent Strategy. The named Lead at Beamont Collegiate Academy is Mrs C Rixham. She can be contacted on 01925 579 500
